Around the world, managers face the challenge of dealing with an increasingly diverse workforce.  Moving people’s perspective toward seeing the competitive edge a strong diverse organization provides is critical. The specific skill sets discussed and practiced include:

  • Understanding our fears around diversity
  • Building respect around individual differences
  • Explaining the importance of first impressions
  • Describing how stereotypes are formed, applied, maintained and changed
  • Explaining how first impressions and stereotyping lead to the perception of in-groups and out-groups
